Members of the public may participate in City Council meetings in person or by teleconference using the Zoom platform. Agenda materials, including available staff reports and related attachments, are on file in the City Clerk’s Office and are available for public inspection during normal business hours. Agenda materials are also posted on the City’s website to support public access. When available in a digital format, links to staff reports and related attachments are provided at the end of each Agenda title. Materials that are not available at the time the agenda is posted may be made available later or may be requested from the City Clerk’s Office. Members of the public may participate in person at 5000 Clark Avenue, Lakewood, California or via teleconference. The “Public Comments” portion of the agenda is the time set aside for members of the public to address the City Council on items listed on the agenda. The “Oral Communications” portion of the agenda is reserved for comments on matters not listed on the agenda. Anyone wishing to speak before the City Council, whether attending in person or remotely, must first be recognized by the Mayor. Speakers may state their name for the record. Individuals attending in person should approach the podium, and remote participants may request to speak by following the procedures outlined on the first page of the agenda. Public comments and questions pertaining to any item on the agenda will also be accepted via email at cityclerk@lakewoodca.gov until 8 a.m. on the day of the meeting or by delivering them in person to the City Clerk’s Office at Lakewood City Hall, 5050 Clark Avenue, Lakewood, CA 90712. Please indicate the specific agenda item on which you wish to comment or note that your comment is for Oral Communications.
