Winter Break Excursions

Kids ages 6 to 12 on winter break can sign up now for two fun excursions that will depart from Mayfair Park at 9 a.m.

Before and after the excursions (from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.) kids can enjoy games, crafts and sports activities supervised by trained city recreation staff.

Register for either or both excursions online using the activity number listed below:

Friday, Dec. 27: Sky Zone in Cerritos (Activity #28931)
Fee: $80/resident and $95/non-resident

Friday, Jan. 3: Boomers Amusement Park in Irvine (Activity #28932)
Fee: $85/resident and $100/non-resident

Santa visits Lakewood parks

On Saturday, Dec. 21, come by and enjoy photo opportunities with Santa, as well as hot chocolate, candy canes and a small craft, while supplies last.

Santa's schedule

  • 10 a.m. - Biscailuz Park & Bloomfield Park
  • 11 a.m. - Bolivar Park & Palms Park
  • 12 p.m. - Mayfair Park & Boyar Park
  • 1 p.m. - San Martin Park & Del Valle Park
