How to do business with Lakewood

The City of Lakewood's goal is to acquire quality goods and services at the lowest total cost to the City. 

Lakewood's Purchasing Department, a division of the Administrative Services Department, oversees the competitive bidding process, supplier selection for almost all City departments (excluding Public Works contracts), and the disposition and sale of all surplus City equipment and vehicles.

Register as a supplier

The first step for interested businesses is to register as a supplier:

  • Register as a supplier (form, opens in a new tab).
  • Upload digital brochures or detailed information about your firm's capabilities.
  • Information is kept on file for two years, during which time your company may be considered for bidding opportunities.

Lakewood uses a competitive bid process for purchasing supplies and equipment and for construction of Public Works Projects.
