When larger property or nuisance issues arise, the City of Lakewood’s Public Nuisance and Property Abatement Team may get involved.

The team includes a special assignment officer, city code enforcement officers and a city prosecutor. They work together to identify and resolve nuisance issues involving single-family homes, multi-family housing, businesses and other properties that may affect the appearance, safety or quality of life in Lakewood neighborhoods.
