Lakewood’s DASH transit service helps eligible Lakewood residents get around the community when they do not have their own transportation.

DASH transit service
DASH is a free, reservation-only transportation service for eligible Lakewood residents who are age 60 or older and do not have their own transportation, and for eligible residents with disabilities of any age.
DASH travels in and around Lakewood. Eligibility requirements apply, and riders must be approved before using the service.

Dial-A-Lift
Dial-A-Lift, provided by Long Beach Transit, offers additional transportation service for eligible riders with disabilities.
Dial-A-Lift may be available for longer-distance trips and extended service hours for a nominal fee. Pre-registration is required, and eligibility requirements apply.
