Haunted Jail returns Oct. 25

Lakewood Station will host the Haunted Jail event on Friday, Oct. 25 from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.

This Halloween-themed community event for all ages features food, pony rides, a petting zoo, pumpkin painting, face painting and more. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.

Adults and older kids can explore the haunted jail (if they dare), while children age 6 and under can try the spooky maze. 

Entrance to the Haunted Jail and Kids Maze is free. Attractions and games will require tickets, which may be purchased on site. Pizza, tacos, hot dogs, ice cream and other treats will be available for sale.

Families can also see displays of first responder vehicles and public safety equipment. 

Enter the event on foot through the rear gate of the Lakewood Sheriff’s Station (5130 Clark Ave.) from Civic Center Drive. Parking is best on the south end of Civic Center Drive on or near the vacant lot and Angelo M. Iacoboni Library.
