Get your vehicle ready for rainy weather before the next storm. A few simple checks can help prevent breakdowns and keep you safer on the road.

• Prepare or update an emergency kit with a flashlight, first-aid supplies, phone charger and other essentials to keep in your car. 
• Test your battery and replace it if needed.
• Check your tires, windshield wipers and headlights to make sure they work properly.
• Keep your gas tank at least half full or your electric vehicle fully charged.
