Lakewood’s Home Run Dog Park is located at the north end of Rynerson Park, near Studebaker Road and Del Amo Boulevard.

The two-acre dog park includes separate fenced areas for large and small dogs.

The dog park is open seven days a week during seasonal hours and is closed Monday mornings from 7 to 10 a.m. for maintenance.

Seasonal hours
March-October: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
November-February: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Dog park rules

All dogs visiting the park must have a current license. For dog licensing information, contact the Southeast Area Animal Control Authority at 562-803-3301 or visit the SEAACA licensing webpage.

Dogs must be on a leash when being brought to the dog park from the nearby parking lot or street.

Please read and follow all rules posted at the dog park. To use Home Run Dog Park, dogs must be:

  • Licensed with current tags
  • Over 6 months old
  • Spayed or neutered
