National Coffee with a Cop Day

Come enjoy a cup of coffee and chat with Lakewood Sheriff Station deputies and Lakewood’s Public Safety Department staff on Wednesday, Oct. 1 from 10 to 11 a.m. at 88Keys Coffee at 4836 Paramount Blvd. in Lakewood.

Oct. 1 is National Coffee with a Cop Day, which is a day dedicated to encouraging communication and positive interactions between law enforcement and the community. National Coffee with a Cop Day is recognized on the first Wednesday in October.

At home here in Lakewood, National Coffee with a Cop Day is part of Lakewood's ongoing work to provide lots of opportunities for residents to meet with and get to know Lakewood public safety personnel.

In addition to celebrating National Coffee with a Cop day, Lakewood offers more opportunities for the community to meet the deputy sheriffs serving Lakewood through the Coffee with a Deputy program.
