Registration for the 2025 Fall/Winter Recreation Catalog opens Aug. 28. The new catalog is packed full of fun programs and activities to make life better for all ages. Pick up a copy at libraries, parks and at City Hall starting Labor Day weekend.

Labor Day closure and service changes

Lakewood City Hall will be closed Monday, Sept. 1. There will be no trash pickup that day, and a one-day trash pickup delay all week. Street sweeping is canceled for Sept. 1-5 as well.

Labor Day closure and service changes

Lakewood City Hall will be closed Monday, Sept. 1. Lakewood’s trash contractor, EDCO, is also closed on Labor Day, so there will be no trash pickup that day. There will be a one-day delay in trash pickup all week. Street sweeping will be canceled all week, resuming Sept. 8.

Patriot Day Ceremony

The City of Lakewood will solemnly commemorate Patriot Day with a flag-lowering ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 11 in the west parking lot at Lakewood City Hall.
