Status: The Weingart Senior Center is currently closed for renovations.

During the closure, Weingart programs and services have been temporarily relocated to Mayfair Park.

The Weingart Senior Center, located at 5220 Oliva Avenue near the corner of Lakewood Boulevard and Candlewood Street, serves as a hub for activities and services for older adults.

  • You must be at least 50 years of age to participate in recreational activities.
  • Adults age 60 and older may take part in the low-cost lunch program. Learn more about senior meal programs.

Programs and services during renovations

While the Weingart Senior Center is closed for renovations, the city is continuing senior programs and services at Mayfair Park. This temporary move allows activities, meals and support services to remain available while the center is upgraded.

The renovations are designed to improve accessibility, comfort and the overall experience for visitors when the center reopens. Planned updates include:

  • New HVAC system
  • Accessible restroom updates
  • Accessible parking updates
  • New flooring, paint, ceiling, lighting, doors and window treatments
  • Installation of hearing loops
  • New interior signage
