State of the City

Lakewood's annual State of the City Luncheon is set for Wednesday, Feb. 26 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at The Centre.

The event will be held in the large Weingart Ballroom.

Attendees at the State of the City will get the first viewing of the always-informative Annual Report from Lakewood CityTV, and hear from Lakewood leaders about the city’s upcoming opportunities and challenges.

The annual event is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lakewood, Greater Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and City of Lakewood.

The early-bird deadline for reservations is Feb. 12 at 5 p.m.

Reservations, which include a catered lunch, are $45 per person.  Gourmet vegan and vegetarian entrees available upon request.

As of Feb. 13, reservations are $55 per person. Seating is not guaranteed after Feb. 19.

If you are unable to attend, the Annual Report video and Mayor Rogers' written remarks will be available by 5 p.m. the day of the event at www.lakewoodcity.org/SOTC.

Residents who wish to attend in person, but do not want a lunch, are welcome to attend at no charge. Reservations are not required, but are encouraged. You can call the city’s Community Relations Office at 562-866-9771, extension 3123.
