Lakewood Run

The 34th annual Lakewood Run, “Unleash Your Inner Champion,” returns on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Deputy Sheriffs, recreational runners, families and kids will gather at the starting line in front of the Lakewood Sheriff’s Station for the event’s 5K Run/Walk/Ruck or the 10K Run course for time. 

Lakewood’s tree-lined residential streets offer a flat, “runner friendly” course that is fast for practiced runners and comfortable for fitness fans and family members.

Professional timing will be used, with medals awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each category of the running events.

All finishers for the 5K/10K run will receive a finisher medal.

Packet pickup

Pre-registered runners can pick up their race packet on Friday, Feb. 28 from 5-8 p.m. at the Lakewood Center Mall at Center Court near Macy's. Late registration also accepted.

Event day schedule

Race day packet pickup and registration is at 6:30 a.m. on March 1 in the parking lot between Super Mex and Black Angus.

• 6:30 a.m. - Registration
• 8:00 a.m. - 10K Run
• 8:10 a.m. - 5K Run
• 8:15 a.m. - 5K Walk/Ruck

Location

The starting line is in front of the Lakewood Sheriff's Station.
Packet pickup, registration and the Expo is held in the Lakewood Center parking lot between the Super Mex and Black Angus restaurants.
