Labor Day closure and service changes

Lakewood City Hall will be closed Monday, Sept. 7. Lakewood’s trash contractor, EDCO, is also closed on Labor Day, so there will be no trash pickup that day. There will be a one-day delay in trash pickup all week. Street sweeping will be canceled all week, resuming Sept. 14.

Patriot Day Ceremony

The City of Lakewood will solemnly commemorate Patriot Day with a flag-lowering ceremony beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, September 11 in the west parking lot at Lakewood City Hall.
