Swim hours as summer winds down

The best way to stay cool during a heatwave is to be in the pool.

Weekend recreational swimming continues through Sept. 27 at Mayfair Pool.

Mayfair Pool September hours

Lap swim continues through September on Saturday afternoons from 12 to 12:50 p.m.

Recreation swim will be held on weekends only from Sept. 12-26, in addition to being open Labor Day.

Sessions are from 1 to 2:30 p.m. and 2:45 to 4:15 p.m.

Admission fees

Resident fees are $1 for children and $1.50 for adults (age 18+). Nonresident fees are $2 for children and $3 for adults (age 18+).

Swim lessons

Post-summer private and semi-private swim lessons are offered Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday evenings at Mayfair Pool through the month of September.
