EDCO Waste and Recycling Services is the city’s trash collection contractor.
Trash, recyclable materials, green waste and organics are picked up using an automated system throughout Lakewood. EDCO provides each household with a gray cart for trash, a blue cart for recyclables and a green cart for green waste and organics.

Contact EDCO when:
- Your trash pickup was skipped.
- You need to report a damaged cart.
- Your trash cart was stolen.
- You want to order additional carts.
- You need a smaller cart due to physical limitations or space constraints.
- You have a question about what goes in your recycling cart.
- You have a question about green waste or organics.
- You need to schedule a large item pickup.
