Neighborhood Preservation
Lakewood residents take pride in safe, clean and well-maintained neighborhoods. Reporting small problems early helps protect quality of life, prevent larger issues and keep streets, sidewalks, parks and public spaces looking their best.
City staff can help address many neighborhood concerns, including maintenance issues, public nuisances and conditions that affect the appearance or safety of the community.
Report a neighborhood concern
Please let us know when you notice something that may need city attention, such as:
- Graffiti on public or private property
- Parking concerns or abandoned vehicles
- Potholes, damaged sidewalks or street maintenance issues
- Shopping carts left in streets, sidewalks or parkways
- Street light outages or traffic signal concerns
- Overgrown weeds, trash or debris visible from the street
- Construction or landscaping noise outside allowable hours
- Property maintenance or code enforcement concerns
You can submit a request online, by phone or by email. Please include the location, a brief description of the concern and any helpful details, such as the nearest cross street or whether the issue is on public or private property.

Graffiti removal on private property

The authorization form is valid for one year from the date it is signed.
